ANURAG ANAND

Producer & Director

Filmmaker, multimedia producer and consultant. My work spans culture, horror, education, comedy and documentary. The best projects happen somewhere in between. I work across all areas of production: devising ideas, writing, directing, shooting, and editing. I'm used to leading large teams on complex projects. Or as a solo multimedia journalist in remote locations with quick turnarounds. I'm obsessed with choosing the best medium and style for the message. All film techniques and approaches are on the table to push the creativity and ambition of each project. Currently working on a Indian TV Fiction entitled Ghost Stories of Shimla Hills.

Anurag is outstanding. One of the best that I’ve ever had. Punctual, reliable and works very very hard. His one focus is the engagement and he stays the course. Has a very good network also and is well connected to the right people. Was very very happy with him.
  • MIKE GARROD
    Producer/Director
Anurag is a great journalist, producer as well as a popular fixer. He has a real nose for a story and fantastic contacts in all the right places. A lovely guy and worth running ideas through if you're planning a job anywhere in the sub-continent.
  • DENIZ PASHA
    Photojournalist
I have just completed a 26 days long photo documentary with Anurag. He is a superb guy. The story which i successfully chased with him, i tried many times before with many known fixers but failed every time. Anurag is having a very strong access in India, both politically and locally. Very strong convincing power. He is having a very good backup office as well who also helped me in rescheduling my tickets. We worked in a extreme remote area, shooting a tribe. My previous fixers failed to get even the local permission after trying for 2 weeks but Anurag took out all the permissions in just 3 days. He's fucking smart, i must say. He used to get connected with local tribal people very easily which also eased my access to those families. He is a very nice guy, on whom you can trust anything. He is very committed to his work and delivers whatever he commits in time. His sense of finding the angle in the story was damn awesome, and his ideas are outstanding. The another best part was he is having his own SUV which he drives on his own, so i can say he is a very good driver in hilly region as well which make the access more comfortable. With him i never felt that i am away from my family and i can say that i am having a younger brother in India.
